Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform both services: (a) Right of Way (ROW) Cleaning & (b) Snow Removal Services, within the WMATA Rail Stations located in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions. Contractor Shall: i. For ROW Cleaning - Provide a crew of twenty (20) laborers and two (2) supervisors to remove debris from the ROW track bed, safety walk, walk-ways, vent shafts, fan shafts and drains as outlined in this SOW. Debris includes dirt, mud, leaves, tree branches, calcite, and trash (see # 6 below – Performance Schedules). ii. Be prepared to split laborers into different work groups with a minimum of one (1) supervisor to accompany each work group except for snow removal services where multiples groups of laborers will accompany WMATA personnel (escort or supervisor). iii. Provide hand tools (rail carts, shovels, brooms, trash bags, flashlights and scrapers) necessary to perform tasks
