Specifications include, but are not limited to: To assist with maintaining property visibility and to assist in periodic property inventories, the Airports Authority is considering the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. These tags will be primarily utilized to track and inventory property items that are difficult to inventory using traditional bar codes due to physical size, restricted operational locations (such as servers in a server rack within a secure server room) and/or unable to be taken out of service to inventory. The Airports Authority is seeking an RFID solution that will work seamlessly with its Workday ERP system, providing the ability to seamlessly exchange data between RFID readers and the Workday property module. This includes maintaining the Workday registry of property with the location data, last date of RFID scan and reports that support property functions such as inventory and location history.
