Odenton Antenna installation Amtrak will supply 90’ Monopole antenna. The contractor will provide hardware to make proper attachments of the antenna. The attachment hardware will include bolts and nuts for the attachment of the antenna tower to the foundation. Material may be needed to attach the two 45’ sections of the 90’ monopole to insure proper installation. Amtrak will supply the 12’ x 12’ cement foundation. The foundation was manufactured by new castle specifically for the Monopole antenna. The contractor will supply all hardware to make the proper attachment for the antenna to the precast foundation Contractor and Amtrak responsibilities Contractor will dig the hole for the installation of the cement 12’ x 12’ foundation supplied by Amtrak. The hole will have to be leveled using stone for proper drainage and support. Contractor will provide and install R56 grounding system at the base of the antenna installation. Contractor will provide and install antenna side mounts and antennas and cables as per Amtrak direction. Four antennas will be mounted to the 90’ monopole as per Amtrak’s direction. Contractor provides necessary coax with support or strain relief in the tower. Supply polyphasers, connectors and proper grounding of the antenna lines and antennas. Sweep test the antenna systems and provide a close out package of the installation. Detailed roles of Amtrak and Contractor for this Project are provided in the Responsibility Matrix. Contractor shall be responsible for: Site preparation which will include the digging of the foundation, and all the soil excavated will be dumped in the Odenton yard and will not leave Amtrak property. Provide the specification and cut sheets for the material needed to accomplish this project and be reviewed and accepted by Amtrak representative. Furnishing and installing all associated hardware and appurtenances. Performing all planning and installation of the foundation and antenna Supply a crane to stand up the 90’ monopole antenna which comes in two 45’ sections. Supply a crane to lift and place the cement foundation in the hole. Site restoration and cleanup Amtrak will bring the antenna and foundation to the Odenton location. Amtrak will provide all track protection and ET protection while contractor is on site
