KIPP DC is seeking a qualified and experienced vendor to provide Morning Dry Snacks for Early Childhood and Elementary Schools, with services including but not limited to the procurement, ordering and delivery of individually portioned dry snacks in accordance with USDA Smart Snacks guidelines. Morning snacks consist of individually portioned “dry snacks” that follow the USDA Smart Snacks guidelines. Dry snacks are defined as any prepackaged snack that does not require refrigeration or any heating/cooling processes prior to serving. Dry snacks do not include beverages of any type. Morning snacks are served two school days per week at each KIPP DC early childhood education center (ECE) and elementary school (ES), as well as the special education Learning Center. The vendor will procure/order and deliver unitized dry snacks to each participating school based off of anticipated enrollment totals for each individual school. Deliveries are accepted during normal school hours, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Exact delivery schedule will be determined upon vendor selection.
