The U.S. Embassy - London is currently seeking quotations for a single position to provide food services work, including furnishing all labor and services, for a period of one year with one option year which may be exercised at the unilateral discretion of the U.S. Government. The offer price shall include the cost of all labor including Holiday and Sick cover, taxes, insurance, pension, overhead, and profit (all food and equipment will be provided by the U.S. Embassy). The contractor will be fully insured and possess all necessary licenses and certificates as may be required under UK law to undertake the work. The position is full time, 6:30 to 14:30 each day, Monday through Friday. There is a position incumbent who will be covered under Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) law.
Contractor will be required to provide/manage the following services with all attendant administration:
- Daily cooking and serving requirements
- Cleaning of kitchen, all dishes and appliances after each meal
The incumbent has been security cleared by the U.S. Embassy and any employee of the contractor providing services including Holiday or Sick cover will require U.S. Embassy security clearance as well. Security clearance can take approximately thirty days and so must be initiated in advance of contractor commencing the contract.

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
