These servers run a set of applications also key to the County and share some application data with the Mainframe server. The key application is the JDEdwards World (version 7.3 Q12) ERP financial package. This package includes support for HR and Payroll. Request For Proposal No. 08-50-1085P The payroll application supports three main payrolls: Health, Forest Preserve and County. This accounts for the 24,000 County employees and is run on a bi-weekly cycle. The universe of users (time keepers and others) accessing this system is around 1,400.
