Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services of Fire Alarm, Security Systems & Access Control at various DCHA public housing developments. Services include but are not limited to the performance inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance and repair of a variety of fire alarm, notification systems, equipment and components. All Fire Alarm System inspection, tests, maintenance, alterations, and repairs performed under this contract shall comply with the most current approved the National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA) to include all NFPA appendix chapters, codes & standards and act in accordance with all district and federal codes; NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code; the most current and approved edition of the National Electrical Code NFPA 70 and NFPA 13 Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems. Contractor shall clean, repair and/or replace every component part of the Fire Alarm and Security System; whichever the case may be (see exceptions) to provide uninterrupted Fire Alarm, Security Systems and Access Control, in DCHA Buildings.
