The Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES), seeks a qualified Contractor to provide specialized Executive Coaching and strategic consulting services specifically for the DOES Agency Director. The Contractor shall provide a high-level, confidential partnership aimed at strengthening the Director’s capacity to navigate complex political and economic landscapes, drive organizational transformation, and maintain resilience in a high-stakes environment. DOES seeks a contractor that combines academic rigor with real-world application, cutting-edge performance psychology, practitioner expertise, and innovative methodology to deliver high-quality Executive Coaching. The Executive Coaching should be delivered by proven practitioners who have firsthand leadership experience. The contractor must present a clear history of having used positive psychology and evidence-based approaches to customize executive coaching for executive-level government officials. Additionally, the contractor must employ the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA), a methodology borrowed from elite athletic training that recognizes learning happens most effectively when practitioners must adapt to realistic constraints rather than practicing in idealized conditions. The Contractor shall use research-based methodology that goes beyond borrowed frameworks to deliver lasting impact. The Contractor shall employ immersive learning experiences to create genuine behavior change.
