The Government of the District of Columbia Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the Department of Employment Services (DOES) seeks a contractor to provide a comprehensive year-long “Wellness Wednesday” program designed to enhance the physical, mental, and professional well-being of its staff. The program should include a variety of physical activities and workshops that promote overall wellness and professional development. The Vendor shall be responsible for all aspects of the program, including the provision of necessary equipment and planning of all activities. Wellness Wednesday Programs shall include the following: • Provide all necessary equipment and materials for the activities and workshops. • Collaborate with designated DOES staff to develop a detailed program schedule. • Curriculum that caters to approximately 2 -30 staff members on average. • DOES will have final approval over all planned activities. Wellness Wednesday shall involve the following elements: • Physical fitness, mental health, and/or professional development. • Experienced and certified instructors for all physical activities & workshops. • Online platform for virtual participation if needed and managing all related logistics. • Introduction (purpose, audience and synopsis of task); • Background (brief overview of organization and program(s)/project(s))
