C.4.1 The contractor shall provide food provisions and food service delivery equipment/rentals for special events, meetings on as needed basis to support SEH business activities using District of Columbia Safe Food handling requirements as established by the Department of Health in conjunction with industry best practice standards in C.2. C.4.1.1 The contractor shall provide catering services for breakfast, lunch, and large group events, accommodating between ten (10) to two hundred fifty (250) attendees. The Residency Training program anticipates hosting approximately twenty (20) breakfasts, twenty (20) lunches, and four (4) large events per fiscal year. C.4.1.2 The contractor shall provide vegan and vegetarian substitutes upon request. C. 4.1.3 The contractor shall provide a buffet for large events and meal delivery depending on the venue and event requirement. This includes buffet or boxed meals. C.4.1.4 The contractor shall have proven experience in catering various ethnically diverse foods to accommodate the diverse backgrounds of the program's applicants, guests, trainees, and staff. C.4.1.5 The contractor shall provide menu options that cater to a range of dietary preferences, including but not limited to American, Asian, Italian, Vegan, Vegetarian cuisines. C.4.1.6 The contractor shall also provide a menu option that caters Kosher and Halal cuisines.
