Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Division of Postsecondary and Career Education (PCE) seeks one or multiple contractor/s to provide transportation services to eligible District of Columbia students, who attend OSSE’s Advanced Technical Center (ATC), to and/or from the ATC, their assigned school (“home school”), and/or their home address. The ATC operates 180 days a year aligned to the DC Public Schools (DCPS) academic calendar. Eligible students are transported to and/or from their home school and the ATC (school-based transportation) to meet the following class schedules: 1. Morning: 8:25 – 9:45 a.m. 2. Mid-morning: 10:35 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. 3. Mid-afternoon: 12:15 p.m -- 1:35 p.m. 4. Afternoon: 2:40 – 4:00 p.m. ATC students are coming from 15-20 partner schools throughout the city and the majority of school-based transportation would be larger groups of students (anywhere between 5 and 15) being transported together. The eligible ATC students participating in either the mid-morning session or the mid-afternoon session receive round-trip transportation to and from their home school. OSSE estimates that there could be between 25 and 40 students participating in the mid-morning session and between 20 and 30 in the mid-afternoon session.
