Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of The District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB or Department) seeks a District small business enterprise-certified contractor to promote the program by developing/hosting a total of four (4) awareness events and incentivizing participation within each of the 8 wards in the District of Columbia. The goal of procurement is to host events to empower and educate District residents on the following DISB Office of Financial Education and Empowerment programs: BANK ON DC; Financially Fit DC; Financial Navigators; Earned Income Tax Credit DC (EITC DC); and the Opportunity Accounts Program. The performance period will be the contract award date through September 30, 2022. The overall goals of the Office of Financial Education and Empowerment are: To empower District residents with resources and actionable information on ways to manage expenses, increase generational wealth and maximize income. To provide innovative financial education initiatives that safeguard the financial future of Washingtonians by promoting inclusiveness and resilience through financial education. To drive participation in DISB Office of Financial Education and Empowerment programs, OCP seeks a contractor to: Conceptualize and oversee event(s) – either hybrid or fully virtual – including identifying speakers, managing event budget, and coordinating venue or online-delivery platform logistics Manage purchases of promotional items for distribution to event attendees and for participant recognition ceremonies Generate graphic design content for marketing and promotional materials Support social media promotion Provide post-event follow-up (e.g., event reports, feedback)
