Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Teach and introduce basic ballet steps and instruction; • Instruction in the foundation of classical, neoclassical and contemporary Ballet; • Integrate students’ awareness and efficiency of warm up stretches; • Through instruction, improve individual participants’ flexibility and posture; • Teach the positions of the feet and arms, ballet exercises at the barre and center floor and the foundation of classical, neoclassical and contemporary Ballet; • Teach self-confidence and how to work in groups while following instruction; • Introduce participants to the history of performance Ballet, the different genres of Ballet, and to technique, style and vocabulary; • Contractor shall provide class instruction to be implemented for: - 16 weeks beginning Date of Award through June 18, 2022 (Winter & Spring Sessions); - 4 weeks beginning September 3, 2022 through September 29, 2022 (Fall Sessions)
