The Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the Office of Zoning (DCOZ), seeks a contractor to provide transcription and stenographic services to the agency on an as needed basis with payments on a fixed cost basis. The mission of OZ is to provide administrative, professional, and technical assistance to the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) in support of their oversight and adjudication of zoning matters in the District of Columbia. DCOZ administers the zoning application processes for the BZA. The agency reviews and accepts applications, schedules hearings to determine whether cases meet specified zoning criteria, schedules meetings to make determinations with respect to pending applications, and issues legal orders. Technology plays a critical role in support of this process by enhancing effectiveness and transparency. It is DCOZ’s goal to provide the BZA with accurate, timely transcripts. It is anticipated that DCOZ will require approximately 40 day events (hearings, meetings, forums, et al.) transcribed in the fiscal year. Electronic transcript received no later than 10 calendar days from the BZA event. The contractor shall produce all deliverable products as specified in this Statement of Work, unless otherwise instructed in writing by change order or system change by OCP on behalf of DCOZ.
