The Federal Communications Commission has a new requirement for Broadband Serviceable Location Fabric to support the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC’s or Commission’s) Broadband Data Collection program. In the Broadband Deployment Accuracy and Technological Availability Act (Broadband DATA Act), 47 U.S.C. § 641 et. seq, Congress tasked the Commission with creating the Fabric as “a common dataset of all locations in the United States where fixed broadband internet access service can be installed, as determined by the Commission.” The delivery of this dataset will support the various broadband mapping efforts required by the Broadband DATA Act.
This solicitation will use a FAR Part 15.101-1 Best Value Tradeoff Process. Acquisition will provide for Full and Open Competition.
