The Design-Builder shall renovate the existing Park View Recreation Center to meet the growing needs of the community while maintaining and improving its current structure. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide enhancements to the existing exterior amenities at Park View, including a playground, soccer field, playfield, basketball courts, pool, walking/running track, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic areas, and historic building. Enhancements should include, but not limited to; Improved site accessibility and equipment upgrades Structural and architectural upgrades to the existing facility to enhance safety and functionality Interior renovations, including updated flooring, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to meet modern standards Enhancement of recreational and multi-purpose spaces, including fitness areas, meeting rooms, and community gathering spaces Upgrading restrooms and locker facilities to be ADA-compliant and meet latest accessibility standards Improvements to energy efficiency, including the installation of high-performance insulation, windows, and HVAC systems in compliance with LEED Gold principles Refurbishment of exterior amenities, including playgrounds, soccer fields, playfields, basketball courts, pools, walking / running tracks, outdoor fitness equipment, and picnic areas Improved site accessibility and landscaping to ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental impact reduction goals
