Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department anticipates awarding a design-build contract to the Offeror whose Proposal is most advantageous to the District pursuant to the evaluation and award criteria in Part 3. The Project includes full design and construction services for a new community center, pool facility, and park. The Design-Builder shall design and construct a new community center to best execute the Department of Parks and Recreation programmatic needs. In general, the Design-Builder will be required to program, fully design, modify, and construct the Douglass Community Center, pool, and park. The programming, design, construction, modification, revitalization, and renovations will include but are not limited to the community center, pool and pool house, splash pad, playground, overall Project landscaping, site furnishings, amenities, signage, hardscaping and all improvements to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act. Without limiting the generality of foregoing, the Design-Builder shall be required to provide all management, personnel, design services, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the Project. All work shall be code compliant and installed per DGS and DPR standards, specifications, manufacturer recommendations and applicable industry standards (collectively, the “Project”).
