a. Create and manage content, including graphics, reels, and captions, for DCHA’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and YouTube, that increases and enhances DCHA's social media presence. b. Monitor news media outlets for mentions of DCHA and/or DCHA leadership, coverage of local and federal policies that impact public housing authorities and the affordable housing industry, and other relevant coverage of local and federal policies and regulations; and create clips reports at minimum three times per week. c. Lead content creation for quarterly print newsletters for distribution to public housing residents, i.e. writing and editing copy and gathering media elements. d. Write and edit copy for blog posts to be published on DCHA’s website. e. Write and edit copy for FAQs, explainers and other reference materials on programs and services for use in the creation of new webpages and print materials, such as brochures. f. Administer media alerts and press releases, including writing and editing copy, distributing approved deliverable to media outlets, and coordinating media response. g. Assist with crisis communication responses, including brainstorming, writing and/or editing statements on behalf of DCHA and/or DCHA leadership. h. Monitor inquiries received by DCHA from media outlets and coordinate responses on an ad hoc basis (i.e., when OPAC leadership is out of the office). i. Provide other related services as needed and determined by DCHA.
