Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1 In addition to general contract oversight, the contractor or onsite supervisor shall inspect the designated areas listed in Appendix A on a daily basis for spot cleaning and shall ensure that any items or personal belongings found unsupervised or lost in these areas is turned over to the CA or Facilities Management located in Suite 3641 on the 3rd Floor. 5.2 All rooms specified in Appendix A shall be cleaned daily as follows: 5.2.3.1 Floors shall be swept, vacuumed and/or scrubbed with approved Environmentally Preferable Janitorial Products. Special attention which includes the use of wood wax shall be given to maintaining the appearance of the floors in all conference rooms. 5.2.3.2 Any Emergency spills shall be cleaned up as needed, and upon the request of the CA. 5.2.3.3 All trash shall be collected and disposed of in the nearest dumpster. Trash cans shall be emptied and kept clean and free of dirt, stains and debris. Plastic liners for all trash containers shall not be torn, worn, or contain residue. 5.2.3.4 Carpeted floors shall be vacuumed. Contractor shall ensure to vacuum furniture covered areas as well. 5.2.3.5 All horizontal surfaces (desks, table tops, chairs, seats, window sills, bookshelves, etc.) shall be dusted with a treated dust cloth. 5.2.3.6 Upholstered chairs shall be vacuumed and areas below the desktops shall be cleaned with an approved cleaner. 5.2.3.7 All wall surfaces, partitions, doors, door handles, window frames, and sills shall be spot cleaned as necessary. Glass Doors and windowsills shall be kept free of dust and cobwebs. 5.2.3.8 All windows/glass entryways and interior doors shall be cleaned. 5.2.3.9 Entry and interior doors shall be kept free of fingerprints and scuff marks. 5.3 Service Requirement for Carpet Cleaning: Quarterly and as needed. 5.4 Carpet cleaning shall be scheduled with the CA on a quarterly basis for all the rooms specified in Appendix A. 5.5 The contractor shall shampoo carpet with an environmentally preferable product, up to approximately 10,746 square feet. 5.6 Service Requirements for Upholstery Cleaning: Quarterly and as needed. 5.7 All furniture located in the rooms specified in Appendix A shall be wiped clean with an approved Environmentally Preferable Janitorial Product. 5.8 Cloth and Upholstered furniture shall be steam cleaned with an approved Environmentally Preferable Janitorial Product. This includes furniture spot cleaning as needed.
