The Department is seeking a Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for Project, including all associated construction, close-out, and post-construction phase services in accordance with the DGS Drawings and Specifications (Attachment J.1). Accurate budgeting, value engineering, site coordination, scheduling, logistical planning, local/small/disadvantaged business involvement, and quality control will be important components of the requested services. The Contractor will be required to construct the 3,000 Square Feet-base building, ground-up, new Ward 8 Senior Wellness Center where seniors can congregate for recreation and general wellbeing. The new Center will be constructed within the existing Kramer Middle School Parking lot grounds with support spaces that promote senior wellness activities,such as a gym, meeting rooms, and educational space.
