1) Stain removal, preventative maintenance and restorative cleaning (when needed), using cleaning products that bear the Carpet & Rug Institute’s Seal of approval. Services shall be provided to all carpeted areas: including public areas, study and meeting rooms including underneath tables and desks, staff areas, and corridors. Areas shall be vacuumed and spots pre-treated prior to extraction. Chairs shall be moved and returned to original locations after service is completed. 2) The Contractor shall use CRI-approved cleaning products and equipment to clean carpets. The Contractor must maintain the warranties of these product issued by the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) Certified Seal of Approval Provider and shall be available upon request by the Contract Administrator. 3) The Contractor must be certified by the Institution of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICR). Proof of certification must be submitted along with the bid. See Section C.3.B. 4) The Contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience cleaning wool, nylon, and polyester carpets with a variety of carpet piles. 5) The Contactor shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing restorative carpet cleaning services.
