Student Textbook a. Develop a visually engaging, age-appropriate textbook designed for youth ages 9–13. b. Content must include interactive activities, real-world applications, and culturally relevant examples that reflect the experiences of District youth. c. The textbook should be organized into weekly modules aligned with the sixweek program structure. d. Include a variety of learning formats (e.g., short readings, games, reflection prompts, group activities) to support different learning styles. e. Final layout and design must be print-ready and approved by DOES prior to production. C.5.1.2 Teacher’s Manual- Create a comprehensive manual to accompany the student textbook, must include: a. Detailed lesson plans for each module. b. Instructional strategies and facilitation tips. c. Pacing guides for daily and weekly instruction. d. Classroom management strategies appropriate for youth ages 9– 13. e. Guidance on adapting lessons for different learning needs and group sizes. f. Manual should be user-friendly and formatted for both print and digital use.
