Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals (RFP) constitutes a request from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for competitive proposals for acquiring Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and system integration services for the functions of Finance, Procurement, Human Capital Management (HCM), Learning Management, and Technology. The goal of this RFP is to purchase the combination of software solution(s) and services in to enable WMATA to meet or exceed its business objectives. a. Provide consistent, scalable performance for online, mobile, and background processing to support peak user demand with no performance degradation b. Deploy the latest, supported software versions and builds c. Replace custom functionality with delivered d. Enhance reporting, data management, and data governance e. Implement a data archiving solution (if applicable) f. Automate testing where possible g. Provide a simplified, low-maintenance, role-based application security model h. Leverage service-based integration architecture as appropriate i. Ensure proper disaster recovery and failover exits
