DESCRIPTION:
The Naval Research Laboratory is searching for potential sources that are capable of meeting the requirements described below for Camouflage Netting and Expeditionary Lifting Structures, Operational Test Support, and Joint Technology Transition:
This requirement is for the third generation X-Hangar Shelter system. The objective is to make signature and durability improvements upon the camouflage cover system, lower SWaP for the inflatable system and electronics and deliver improved systems to USMC and USAF end-users for testing and evaluation.
End users shall then provide feedback in the form of an after-action report (AAR) to NRL with suggested improvements/changes to a final X-Hangar system that will also be delivered at the end of the contract period of performance. The ultimate objective at the completion of this project is to have a product which meets the USMC and USAF requirements and is ready to transition to acquisition.
