The Contractor(s) shall provide laborers for Embassy Warehouse and Moving Services at the U.S. Embassy and its official residences. The Contractor must furnish all necessary direct labor personnel, ensuring they are qualified to lift and move items weighing up to 60 kilograms, with experience in correctly moving, carrying furniture, and providing warehousing services. Contractor personnel are required on site solely for contractual duties.
TYPES OF SERVICES
- Warehouse tasks include moving items from delivery trucks to storage, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment, assisting clerks with kit preparations, and ensuring proper item storage and rotation.
- Assist the Loanable clerk with the preparation of the Transition Kit items for incoming and outgoing U.S. employees. Perform deliveries/pick up of the welcome kits for/from official residences.
- Loading and unloading of furniture and goods, appliance cleaning, sorting items for delivery, and supporting the Mission's various agencies.
- Internal warehouse maintenance tasks such as sweeping, minor repairs, and ensuring neat storage are required.
- Assistance with furniture relocation, event setup/breakdown, and disposal of materials..
- Sort items for delivery, prepare supplies and equipment for issue to all agencies within the Mission in support of approximately 400 customers.
- Support with annual inventory tasks and sales of disposal items involving significant physical exertion is expected.
- Residential Make-Ready Services include furniture and appliance handling, ensuring readiness for occupancy.
The Contractor's employees shall not, under any circumstances, enter other rooms in the service locations or move any other furniture other than those directed by the Property Supervisor or his designated representative.
