Auction Management Services for Disposal of U.S. Government Property
1. Introduction:
The U.S. Embassy Kuwait is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing auction management services for the disposal of U.S. Government property in Kuwait. This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is issued solely for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, request for quote (RFQ), nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition or guarantee of a contract award.
2. Background:
The U.S. Embassy routinely disposes of government property through auctions. The Embassy is seeking qualified contractors who are licensed to conduct auctions in Kuwait, with the ability to manage, advertise, and execute auctions in accordance with applicable local laws and U.S. Government regulations.
3. Scope of Services:
Refer to Statement of Work (SOW) listed below for details
4. Contractor Qualifications:
Prospective offerors must provide the following data with their responses:
• Company Name, address, point of Contact (name, title), Email, and Phone Number.
• Vendors should indicate whether they are licensed and capable of providing auction services in Kuwait and provide any supporting documentation of licensing and prior experience.
5. Submission Instructions
• Interested offerors are requested to send their qualifications by email to: Kuwait_Solicitation@state.gov
• Subject line: “Sources Sought Notice – Auction Management Services”
• Response deadline: November 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Kuwait local time.
• Please note: Submissions received will be used solely for market research to determine if a competitive acquisition is feasible
