Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide capabilities for Position Management and Labor Fulfillment for Amtrak’s Engineering, Mechanical, Transportation (T&E) and Onboard services (OBS) labor positions and employees. Offer a user-friendly, intuitive, and modern interface for managing positions. Perform data analytics functions, provide auditing capabilities and users with necessary reports and dashboards using near-real time data, as well as data retention period definitions. See section 1.3. 1..1, #10 for more guidance on this capability. Provide relevant alerts and notifications to users to promote organizational communication. See section 1.3. 1..1, #5 for more guidance on this capability. Provide workforce users with necessary functionality via self-service portal and accessibility via mobile devices. Comply with Amtrak’s corporate, security, and network policies. Provide capabilities to define user access policies. Interface with Amtrak internal and external systems that are part of its landscape. Systems include but are not limited to ERP HR Systems (SAP Success Factors), EAM Asset Management Systems (Maximo 7.6), Transportation systems and ALC (Amtrak learning center) and other systems to perform various data accessibility and specified requirements. As mentioned above, Amtrak is looking for a COTS product that offers the required capabilities without customization and can be integrated into Amtrak’s existing technology landscape. Amtrak is open to solutions and ideas that represent state of art products, which can provide a scalable and flexible solution that can be deployed incrementally. However, Amtrak will not consider solutions that recommend building the desired system capabilities from scratch.
