The State seeks vendor(s) to provide collection, transportation, and recycling or disposal services for used motor oil, antifreeze, oily water, and related fluids. Vendors shall ensure proper recycling of materials; where recycling is not possible, proper disposal must be ensured. Agency specific operations, materials, and storage identified in this solicitation may not be all-inclusive of needs. Delaware Correctional Industries (DOC) Operations: Automotive services for fleet and staff vehicles. Materials: Used oil and occasionally used antifreeze. Storage: 4 x 55-gallon drums of used oil and 1 x 55-gallon drum of antifreeze; stored indoors in standard loading dock facilities. Pickup Frequency/Trigger: Quarterly, based on a time interval; drums pulled by staff to outside warehouse for vendor collection. Delaware State Police (DSP) Operations: Preventive maintenance on 1,000+ vehicles across 9 garage locations. Materials: Used oil, used antifreeze, and used filters. Storage: Each site maintains ~250-gallon tank for used oil, 1 x 55-gallon drum for used filters, and 1 x 55-gallon drum for antifreeze; storage may be indoors or outdoors. Pickup Frequency/Trigger: On-demand based on tank capacity; some sites require coordination for access and security clearance.
