Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Correction currently leases and operates a facility at 2020 Yonkers Rd., Raleigh, NC, which houses severalDivisions which make up part of the Department of Correction Administration, Community Corrections, Correction Enterprises and theParole and Post Release Commission. The building consists of approximately 135,000 square feet and houses approximately 600employees. Most areas consist of administrative offices, conference rooms, a cafeteria, storage rooms, a loading dock and utilityclosets. The building's normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The contractor shall provide armed uniformed security coverage, consisting of one security officer to be provided 8 hours perday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding 1 hour for lunch break and excluding State Holidays for theDepartment of Correction (Department) building and site located at 2020 Yonkers Rd. Raleigh, N.C. The contractor shallprovide security surveillance for inside the building, primarily at the front door entrance, door #1 and monitoring of videocameras which monitor the parking lot areas, exterior doors and loading dock. The security officer shall take all stepsnecessary to safeguard all property (real and personal) from loss, damage, destruction or unauthorized entry
