Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SIS and IEP system is required to be an existing, integrated software system that incorporates the operational functions described in this RFP. Vendors are asked to submit a proposal that describes their implementation plan and specify all areas where services will be provided and specify areas of responsibility for the DDOE project team. Implementation plans may include but are not limited to; software installation and confirmation, data migration and conversion, development and support of interface functionality, training, support, and management of system. DDOE is interested on recommendations on how best to ensure project success, improving system quality, knowledge transfer and adoption by LEAs, as well as keeping costs to a minimum. To control the cost of the system, DDOE will make a reasonable attempt to use the SIS and IEP system as designed without modification. However, the proposal must contain an estimated modification cost based on other statewide SIS and IEP implementations. The requirements contained in this RFP represent DDOE’s current and future vision of an integration solution. DDOE realizes the requirements may exceed the offerings currently available in the marketplace.
