The project involves exterior renovations at the Seaford School District, Administrative Office Building. Project scope includes exterior front entrance improvements to replace the existing concrete walk, ramp, steps, landing, related brick retaining walls, and wood entry portico columns. New work will provide ADA compliant ramps and stair with brick retaining walls, associated railings, and upper landing. Two exterior doors will be replaced to allow compliant ADA access, and new brick piers and columns will support the entry portico. Work will be coordinated with the school district's selected civil engineer, to tie into the adjacent parking lot walkway. An alternate scope of work will include a portion of sidewalk replacement at the Frederick Douglass Elementary School.
