STREET SWEEPING: This work consists of removing all debris which includes litter, rubbish, leaves, sand, dirt, garbage and other foreign material from all portions of any designated street location unless otherwise indicated in the Contract. All street sweeping debris will be stockpiled at the appropriate area yard within North District as directed by the Engineer for disposal by the Department. Equipment: A. Equipment used for interstate sweeping operations shall meet the following: 1. Must use both mechanical and vacuum sweeper(s). 2. Equipment must be registered and display valid license plate. 3. Use a sweeper of 2009 model or newer and shall not be prototype models. 4. One or more amber rotating or flashing beacons or strobe light(s) in accordance with section 6F.81 of the DE MUTCD.
