Amtrak is seeking a contractor to renovate ~11,000 square feet on the 6th floor of the Renaissance Centre building located at 405 N King St, Wilmington, DE to relocate the National Communications Center (NCC) which is part of Amtrak Police Department (APD) nationwide dispatch center for management of all police involved in incidents in the Amtrak system, a 24/7 secure operation center. The project is to take place mainly during working hours in a building with current tenants and other contractors operating in the building. The contractor will be responsible for all scope outlined in the design documents supplied by Amtrak. This includes but is not limited to demo of existing space, procurement of all equipment and materials, including technology equipment and service, coordination with other projects, and provide startup and commissioning.
