Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project is to complete a study for a new Delaware Psychiatric Center facility to replace the existing facility located in New Castle, Delaware. A specific site has not been determined, but will be located on the Herman Holloway Campus, New Castle, Delaware. The selected firm will begin the programming and planning process with Delaware Health and Social Services, DSAMH staff. They may also assist DHSS with site selection and land planning requirements. The selected firm will complete a conceptual design study to determine the relative size and configuration of a new secure hospital facility and complete a conceptual cost estimate to be used for capital budget planning for the project. The selected team will be required to have the typical building engineering disciplines on their team (structural and mechanical/electrical/plumbing MEP) as well as a civil engineering firm.
