1. Contractor will furnish the personnel, vehicles, boats, equipment, materials, and other items required to provide the contracted service at its expense. 2. Contractor will identify the best locations for launch of equipment. 3. Contractor will be responsible for final removal to designated disposal site. Task 1: Mobilization 1. Mobilization of in-water equipment using public boat launches listed in project scope. 2. Provide Aquatic Harvester and Operator(s). Task 2: Harvesting 1. Harvesting locations will be provided with viable disposal site(s). 2. Harvested organic material will be placed along the designated location(s) on the shoreline identified by DNREC. 3. Final removal will be coordinated between contractor and DNREC. 4. All attempts shall be made to protect submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) beds located in or around work area. Task 3: Hauling 1. Handle and transport harvested algae to disposal location specified by DNREC, all harvested material must be transported to disposal location at end of each workday, no harvested algae shall remain onsite. 2. Additional dates for hauling algae material requested for the weeks of May 6-10 and May 13-17 to be included in bid. Task 4: Demobilization 1. Demobilization of in-water equipment. 2. Final cleanup of jobsite.
