Occupational Therapist Therapist Requirements State of Delaware License in Occupational Therapy Evidence of criminal background check Current Mantoux tuberculin test with a negative or inactive positive result Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities Experience in the Delaware public school system(s) preferred Scope of Work Provide screenings, evaluations and service delivery in collaboration with a team using a transdisciplinary approach Services include therapy provided in classrooms, community, small group, individual or through consultation Prepare reports of evaluation and student progress Develop Individual Education Plans (IEP) in keeping with the Appoquinimink School District procedures Attend IEP meetings to discuss student eligibility, needs and placement Recommend and adapt supportive equipment Interact with parents as appropriate Work collaboratively with other members of the school staff Follow guidelines for Cost Recovery Provide and/or participate in staff development activities including those presented on District scheduled in-service days Physical Therapist Therapist Requirements State of Delaware License in Physical Therapy Evidence of criminal background check Current Mantoux tuberculin test with a negative or inactive positive result Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities Experience in the Delaware public school system(s) preferred
