A. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with the City of Dover's "Specifications, Standards and Procedures for Public Works Construction." Where discrepancies occur, these project specifications shall govern. B. This bid will be a unit cost bid, the following items are listed as a description of work to be performed, but will not be billed separately by the Contractor. C. The work for the Fiscal Year 2026 Street and Alley Program includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Furnish and installation of 31 inlet protection devices. 2. Remove and replace in kind 2,488 linear feet of Type III Curb and Gutter. 3. Remove and replace in kind 15 linear feet of Type III Modified Curb with 2' pan. 4. Remove and replace in kind 9,418 square feet of 6” concrete driveway apron. 5. Remove and replace in kind 13,385 square feet of 4-inch concrete flatwork. 6. Remove approximately 150 square feet of brick sidewalk and replace with 4" concrete flatwork. 7. Remove approximately 50 square feet of concrete sidewalk and replace with approximately 5 tons of pervious bituminous asphalt pavement. 8. Remove and replace 8 Type J catch basin frame and head. 9. Remove and replace 2 Type Double J catch basin frame and head. 10. Restoration of 5 Type J catch basins. 11. Install 1,215 square feet of new 4” concrete flatwork. 12. Install 190 square feet of detectible truncated domes. 13. Install 130 cubic yards of GABC. 14. Prepare 21,674 square yards of pavement to be milled and overlaid including brushing and cleaning, adjusting any necessary valves or manholes and application of tack coat to milled surface. 15. Remove and dispose of 47 cubic yards of miscellaneous materials. 16. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of 7,013 square yard inches of asphalt paving. The approximate depth of removal and disposal shall be two-inches (2”). This area includes the milling and overlaying of all streets identified in the Proposed Locations section of the bid documents. Tack coat will be applied to the street prior to being repaved. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to dispose of all unsuitable excess material. 17. Install 2” of Type “C” Bituminous Surface Course Mix (2,417 tons) in all of the streets identified in the Proposed Locations section of this bid document. The Type ‘C’ Bituminous Surface Course shall be compacted to 95%, according to the modified proctor density test. Installation includes any and all conditiondependent fencing, assembly, maintenance, disassembly, equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals necessary for the completion of this item in conformance with these Specifications, General Conditions, Plans, and any applicable laws and regulations.
