Specifications include, but are not limited to: A number of States, districts, schools and vendors have been engaged in development of identify management solutions for educational organizations in recent years. Rather than repeat this work, Delaware would like to transfer an existing system, install an off-the-shelf product, or replicate an approach that has been successful elsewhere, and then enhance it to meet the security and access control needs of Delaware stakeholders. It is believed that by leveraging the best practices and technical infrastructure of an existing solution, Delaware will be able to implement a higher quality system than would be possible through custom development, and be able to do so at a reduced cost and in less time. The purpose of the RFI is to obtain information about approaches, tools and techniques that have been effective in achieving this objective.
