Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal of the existing clay tile roof system and installation of new asphalt shingle roof system at the Delaware State Police Troop 1 Headquarters Building. The existing T&G wood roof deck shall remain, however, in areas identified as damaged beyond repair or areas to be infilled, new T&G decking will be installed. An existing abandoned masonry chimney shall be demolished to one brick course above the concrete slab floor of the attic and capped to prevent bats and pest’s from entering the building. New metal rakes & eaves shall be installed to match the existing metal color’s and profiles. Finally, at the adjacent vehicle maintenance building, an existing masonry chimney shall be repointed and the masonry cap repaired.
