PURPOSE The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain sealed proposals for the planting of bare-root seedlings and associated materials such as tree tubes and stakes. The seedlings will be provided. It is the goal of this Request for Proposal to identify a vendor(s) and execute a contract to a service contract. SCOPE OF WORK A. OVERVIEW The Vendor(s) shall provide all equipment, materials and labor to supplement the State of Delaware’s need for Bare-root seedling planting as described herein. The contract will require the Vendor(s) to cooperate with the ordering agency to insure the State receives the most current state-of-the-art material and/or services. B. BACKGROUND The Vendor(s) shall provide all equipment, materials and labor to supplement the State of Delaware’s need for as described in this Request for Proposals. Seedlings will be provided by the Delaware Department of Agriculture Forest Service. C. STATEMENT OF NEEDS This RFP calls for proposals for bare-root seedling planting services that detail experience, qualifications, and resources that reflect the Vendor’s ability and willingness to provide effective workmanship.
