In the implementation of the Finance module of the Banner ERP system we have determined a need for additional support services. The consultant will train and direct the Business and Finance Department in the proper use of the Banner Finance module. Using experience and knowledge of the Oracle operating system with its relational database design, which is the foundation of the Banner operating system, the consultant will determine how Banner operates in relation to all current FRS system. This is the basis of the Training and other services provided. The areas included in the Finance module are general accounting, financial reporting, purchasing, contract & grants, capital improvements, budgeting and fixed assets. This person will act, under the direction of the Finance project manager, as the lead person in our migration efforts for each module. This person will also guide in the development and preparation of business process analysis for each area.
