The Red Clay Consolidated School District seeks to improve emergency preparedness by replacing outdated or expiring AED units throughout its schools and administrative buildings. This project will include the procurement, delivery, installation, and documentation of 45 new AEDs along with training, support and removal of existing units. Supply a total of 45 new AED units, each with: o Visual and audio prompts o Pediatric capability without using pediatric pads o CPR coaching features o Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity (if applicable for maintenance alerts) o Long battery life (minimum 4 years) o 8-year orlonger warranty preferred Each AED must include: o 1 adult electrode pad set (minimum 4-year expiration) o pediatric mode functionality o 1 lithium battery pack Safely remove and properly dispose of or recycle the 45 existing AED units in accordance with manufacturer and local environmental regulations. Provide initial on-site or virtual training session(s) forstaff on: o AED usage and basic maintenance o Differences in new vs. old models
