Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request For Proposals (RFP) is issued by the Delaware Department of Transportation (hereinafter designated as Department) to solicit written proposals for a solution to automate routing of oversize/overweight loads for its Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Hauling Permit Section. The proposed solution must have the ability to interface with the existing Hauling Permits application, Oversize/Overweight Permitting System, to provide automated routing of oversize trucks and/or cargo to ensure the safety of the traveling public, regulatory compliance, customer service, and protection of the integrity of public streets, bridges, and infrastructure statewide. The Department expects the selected solution to be fully configured and deployed early in calendar year 2015.
