The Town of Greenwich Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, is seeking qualification statements from consulting firms who have experienced with development of plans and contracts for solid waste management, recycling management, and general municipal transfer station operations. The selected firm will be tasked with researching and creating a management and a disposal strategy for waste disposal and assist with preparing the necessary contract documents to procure a company capable of operating the town's municipal transfer station. The Town's current contract with their Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) disposal company is due to expire 06/30/2026. The previous contract has reached the end of the previously agreed option years, and the town is interested in soliciting proposals for overall transfer station operations.
