Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The proposer agrees to provide on an as-needed, per diem basis school nursing services in any school building and including field trips for a large population of students ages 3-21, for the number of hours, days or portions thereof as the City may need during the school year. All hours billed must be for work performed for the City during school hours on days the school is in session. 2. Nursing services must be provided by CT licensed, certified and qualified RNs without delay to fill the immediate and changing needs of the Waterbury Department of Public Health school nursing division. The proposer will ensure that all RNs assigned to provide school nursing services have had satisfactory criminal background checks, drugs tests and DCF registry checks as required under law and will provide the City proof upon request. 3. The RNs will work under the supervision of the proposer who will designate at least one person within the proposer who will be assigned to the City and who will respond to any issues or concerns of the City. 4. School nursing services are needed for each school day following the school calender of up to 183 days and for extended school year services for an additional 16-20 days in the summer if necessary. The RN must provide their own transportation to the school. Parking is the responsibility of the RN or the proposer.
