Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must be able to perform an energy assessment/audit on each customer that includes a complete visual and diagnostic inspection of all of the home’s thermal and mechanical systems for efficiency including attics, exterior walls, windows, basement, heating and hot water systems. Diagnostics include air infiltration and duct leakage testing combustion safety testing, and where possible electric base-load analysis. Contractor must have the ability to make on-the-spot improvements, including caulking and sealing of critical air leaks, and, depending on your eligibility, provide exclusive money-saving rebates on appliances, HVAC systems and insulation on behalf of Norwich Public Utilities.
