Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of New Haven, in collaboration with the Q-HouseAdvisory Board, is seeking an organization to manage the launch and operations of the Q-House, a New Community Center based in the Dixwell Neighborhood. For-profits, non-profits, sole proprietorships are eligible for the position. Ideal applicants should have a demonstrated track record in similar projects and a close understanding of a community like that the Q-house aims to serve, if not the Dixwell Neighborhood itself. The Organization selected from this RFP process will be both a city contractor in the Community Services Administration and, uniquely, report to the Advisory Board/Board of Directors of the Q House. It will be tasked with the pivotal role of organizing the Center’s relaunch and reestablishment of its mission and financial objectives by building, maintaining, and establishing relationships with board members, community partners, collaborating organizations, and leaders in local and state government. The Selected organization will oversee all program development and administration, direct the management of all staff and policies and procedures, and directly supervise senior staff.
