Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of The Metropolitan District (The MDC) to contract with an EPA certified laboratory to supply pre-labeled sample bottles and appropriate field blanks containing the appropriate preservative(s), chain of custody forms, relabeled shipping coolers if necessary and parameter analysis inclusive of the online reporting for the List 1 Assessment Monitoring Cyanotoxin Chemical Contaminants (List 1) for the three Entry Points to the Distribution System (eight consecutive bimonthly sample sets beginning in April 2019 and ending in July 2019). The Assessment Monitoring Additional Chemical Contaminants (List 1) for the three quarterly Entry Points to the Distribution System sample sets beginning in May 2019, the quarterly monitoring at the twelve Distribution DBP Sample Points (beginning in May 2019) and the quarterly monitoring at the four Source Water Sample sites (beginning in May 2019) as required under the UCMR4 regulations. Bids will be entertained from laboratories certified by the EPA for analysis under the UCMR4 monitoring protocol, with a proven track record of analysis and reporting under the nationally mandated and administered regulations such as the UCMR2 and UCMR3.
