Specifications include, but are not limited to: The EAP administrator will provide confidential and professional clinical evaluations, initial counseling services to all eligible employees and their families members, toll-free and 24-hour crisis telephone responses, and referral to appropriate health care providers in cooperation with the Connecticut Partnership Plan, the City’s managed health care provider, and appropriate follow-up services. In addition to demonstrating the ability to provide these services, proposers must also demonstrate the ability to successfully publicize their services to employees, provide appropriate wellness programs to employees, conduct supervisory training sessions related to voluntary and job-related referrals and to fully cooperate with the City Labor Relations and Human Resources/Benefits Administration Departments and City managers, supervisors and administration in acting as a consultant for related issues. Proposers must also develop and maintain accurate records while assuring total confidentiality to clients in all their actions.
