Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Facilitate a community stakeholder analysis, by identifying and recommending a list of people, groups, institutions, and organizations that will comprise of the Equity and Justice for All Commission to develop the workplan. 2. Establish the infrastructure for the Equity and Justice for All Commission (EJAC) assisting in the development, planning and implementation of an operational and conceptual sustainability framework. 3. Engage city leadership and selected departments in building equity into policies and citywide initiatives to enhance internal efforts to achieve equitable workforce and contracting practices in Norwalk city government. 4. Educate key leaders in government and commission members by creating a shared understanding and increased skill set to advance racial equity and justice. 5. Facilitate a community engagement strategy to address concerns regarding police interaction and engagement in neighborhoods of color.
